Sigma, along with other specially selected companies, participated in an Innovation Race at the Uppsala University Hospital, focusing on improving cancer care.
Customer background and needs
Uppsala University Hospital conducted a so-called Innovation Race for 52 hours, in order to develop and test new ideas and models for early diagnosis and better treatment of cancer. There was a clear focus on patient benefit.
Sigma's specialists in eHealth participated and collaborated with the Uppsala University Hospital, AbbVie, Bristol Myers-Squibb and Microsoft on a number of proposals for innovative solutions aimed at increasing patient benefits and improving cancer care.

Sigma, together with the other parties, came up with several suggestions for innovation solutions that are now possible to develop and implement.
